Don't Forget to Vote November 2

I want to remind everyone to get out and vote tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4. I often express that, imho, votes don't count; that we are not really part of the political process because everything is theater. However, I will always qualify that by saying that there are some candidates for office who are not just bad for the country, but horrible for specific personal liberties. One of the many of them is running for Governor of New York (my lifelong home state). That person's name will not be used here.

Barack Obama and Joe Biden... THEY MUST BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!!!

Barack Obama - The Projected Democratic Presidential Nominee

Tonight, Barack Obama made history. I'm ecstatic.

I wish him the very best on his road to an historic victory in November.

Barack Obama - Give Him the D#$%ed Nomination Already!!!

It is time. Give Barack Hussein Obama the Democratic Party nomination for the U.S. Presidency for 2009. The ongoing process is NOT, IMHO, creating more debate and thought... it is dividing a political party which, despite its many, many flaws, MUST win the November 2008 election.

People spew a lot of diversionary tactics. CHANGE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE NEXT PRESIDENCY... PERIOD. DONE. No more questions. The face that Obama would put on the U.S. Presidency, especially in terms of the way the rest of the world looks at our country and what he would represent, and especially in response to the xenophobic horrors and religious fanaticism of the past 8 years of a Presidency which has arguably become the most tragic "joke" in American history, is more relevant than anything else that can be argued.

It is time.
